Collaborating for Wildfire Resilience
Wildfire Resilience Funders (WRF) is a learning and action network that fosters collaboration among philanthropic funders and advances progress towards wildfire-resilient communities and landscapes.
Join the Network
The only curated network dedicated to mobilizing funders focused on the complex issues linked to wildfire and climate change.
Created in response to the increasing severity and magnitude of wildfires that have come with the changing climate in western North America, WRF aims to increase strategic alignment and investment in wildfire resilient communities, and wildfire adapted landscapes. Since its founding in 2023, the network has grown to include more than 140 member and affiliate organizations.
WRF fosters participation beyond philanthropy through the active inclusion of experts and organizations working on the front lines of the wildfire crisis. Our programs are designed to facilitate connection across these sectors, enabling stronger connections between and among philanthropy, researchers, agencies, and nonprofits.
How to Engage
Network participation is available to philanthropic funders as Funder Members (via membership dues) or Funder Affiliates. Non-grantmaking organizations can participate in some network programming as Practitioner Affiliates. Explore the benefits of WRF membership, the activities WRF offers, and apply to join the network!
